One of the most prolific commentators on peering as it is presently practiced is Bill Norton. His extensive research into the activities of ISPs and other denizens of the peering environment is available on request at the Equinix website.

We have prepared a similar document, comparing and contrasting the New Zealand Internet environment with its unique aspects of very small scale at very great distance from the majority of the rest of the world. Differences which emphasise the need for cooperation.
